Recycled Soda Pop Pull Tabs.

Just a short post and picture to show you what I just finished. There are lots of items we can make using the soda pop pull tabs, I found loads of ideas by making a search on the web. I usually throw away these tabs together with the empty soda cans but this time I saved a few and  here's a key chain I made with only 3 tabs, a key ring and some white and black glitter ribbon.
Quick and easy... recycling is not only important but also fun!

  6. Hey Sue - I found you this recipe which you can try for that ftira:Seems easy

For the dough, get your hands on:
    400g of plain white flour
100ml of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    Salt/Water, as required

To make the dough, sieve the flour and put it into a food processor with the salt and the olive oil. Blend the mixture, slowly adding water until the dough forms into a ball. Put the dough into a plastic bag or bowl and chill it in the fridge for at least an hour. Preheat the oven to 200 deg. C. Spread the dough as thinly as possible so that it is at least 5cm wider than the baking dish. Thinly slice the potato as if for crisp frying and lay the slices over the dough base. Add the tomato pieces, capers, olives and onion, and season with salt and pepper. Fold the edges of the dough inwards, drizzle some olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Fold the edges of the dough inwards, drizzle some more oil over the top and bake the ftira for 15 minutes, or until the dough is just starting to turn golden.

  9. @ Zen,
thanks for the recipe, I left you a comment on your blog.

    @ Aliza,

    Sue.
