Here's a cute way of recycling a glass jar. You don't have to own any painting skills for this craft but only sewing skill.
I used a coffee jar for this project since we drink alot of instant coffee in my family and I am always left with those nice big jars that I hate throwing away in the glass recycling bin .
I thought a cute little chef would be just right for a noodle container.

Ecco un modo simpatico di riciclare un barattolo di vetro. Non serve saper disegnare per questo lavoro ma solo saper cucire.
Ho usato un barattolo di caffè per questo progetto dal momento che beviamo un sacco di caffè istantaneo nella mia famiglia e avanzo molti barattoli grandi che mi dispiace buttare nel bidone del riciclaggio vetro.
Ho pensato che trasformarlo in un cuoco sarebbe un' idea carina per un contenitore di pasta.

You will need a large coffee jar (200 gr)
Vi serve un barattolo grande da 200 gr.
Remove the label.
Rimuovere l'etichetta.
Print out the graphic and
cut it to the desired height...
the head should be just below the jar cap.

Stampare l'immagine del cuoco e tagliarla all'altezza desiderata...
la testa dovrebbe arrivare al bordo del tappo.Per scaricare l'immagine cliccate sotto. 
Next slip the picture inside the jar.
Adesso infilate l'immagine dentro il barattolo.
Make a chef's hat and glue to the jar cap.

Cucite un cappello da chef e incollatelo al bordo alto del tappo.

Make a scarf to match the gingham pattern on the graphic. (This is an optional)
You can leave it without a scarf but I think it looks much better with.
Use the jar's circumference to make the triangle base pattern.
You must trace a triangle on the chosen fabric and sew seams all around.
The scarf must be tied on the outside of the jar just below the chef's moustache.
Fate un foulard scegliendo il colore della fantasia sull'immagine.
Io penso che lo chef si presenta meglio con il foulard, ma potete farlo anche senza.
Misurate la circonferenza del barattolo per la larghezza del foulard.
Dovete soltanto tracciare un triangolo sulla stoffa scelta e cucire gli orli.
Questo si lega fuori dal barattolo, sotto i baffi del cuoco.
Here is the final result.
You can now fill it with pasta noodles or rice or sugar or anything you fancy.
Ecco il risultato finale.
Adesso potete riempirlo di pasta o di riso o zucchero o qualunque cosa che volete voi.
