Printable Stationery

I know very well that most of us do not use stationery anymore, we all prefer to communicate through our emails but we all need to have some writing paper around the house, we never know when it may come in handy... an invitation, a thank you note or just a plain letter to somebody who does not own a computer. I designed this writing paper and envelope in the hope that it could come in handy to someone who still uses pen and paper.

So molto bene che oggi molte di noi non usano più la carta da lettere, preferiamo comunicare tramite email, ma tutte noi dovremmo avere della carta da lettere in casa, non si può mai sapere quando potrebbe servire... un invito, una lettera di ringraziamento o una semplice lettera a qualcuno che non possiede un computer. Ho disegnato questa carta da lettera con busta, nella speranza che, a qualcuno che utilizza ancora carta e penna, possa essere utile.

Fridge Magnet Frame.

Here's one more easy craft to make. This is a Fridge Magnet Frame I made recently and here's a tutorial.
All you will need is:
A sheet of strong card stock measuring about 8 inches square.
A piece of coloured recycled paper 4 inches square
Some small artificial or dried flowers.
A small magnet.
Scissors and glue.

Start by laying out the pattern on the card stock. Follow the diagram.
A - Back ( measures 3 1/2 inches square)
B - Internal piece
C - Frame ( cut 2 of this piece, 1 piece from cardstock and 1 from coloured recycled paper)

Cut out the C frame pattern from the recycled paper and glue to the cardstock C frame.
Next glue the A piece to the B piece and in the end to the C frame piece.
When dry, glue the flowers around the frame as you desire.
Finally attach the magnet to the back.
You can put a picture in the frame or a saying like I did. I added a piece of transparent plastic 2 1/2 inches square to cover the picture/saying.

Ecco un altro lavoro facile da fare. Questa è una cornicetta calamita per frigo. Qui ci sono le istruzioni.
Occorrente:
Un pezzo di cartone che misura 20cm per 20 cm.
Un pezzo di carta riciclata colorata 10cm per 10 cm.
Fiorellini finti o secchi.
Una piccola calamita.
Colla e forbici.

Iniziate disegnando il modello sul cartone. Seguite il disegno sopra.
( 3 1/2 inches = 9 cm --- 2 1/2 inches = 6,5 cm)
A - Dietro
B - Parte interna
C - Cornice ( tagliarne 2 , una dal cartone e una dalla carta riciclata colorata)
Tagliate la cornice C di carta riciclata e incollatela alla cornice di cartone.
Poi incollate la parte A alla parte B e in fine alla parte C.
Quando è tutto asciutto, incollate i fiori intorno, come desiderate.
In fine attaccate la calamita sul retro.
Potete inserire una foto o un detto come ho fatto io. Io ho aggiunto un pezzo di plastica trasparente 6,5cm per 6,5cm per coprire la foto/ scritta.

Grandma's Doily.

Here's one thing I learnt to make, thanks to my grandmother. To make these doilies she would use tulle, crochet cotton and glass beads, in my version I used wooden beads.
I remember she would use these doilies to cover her milk jugs and sugar bowls to protect the contents from houseflies and other tiny flying insects.
I think we can still use them today.
This is a very simple and inexpensive craft to make. I used left over tulle from old wedding favors, wooden beads with a hole big enough to make a crochet hook pass through and white crochet cotton .




Ecco una cosa che ho imparato a fare grazie a mia nonna. Per fare questi centrini lei usava del tulle, filo di cotone per uncinetto e perline di vetro, nella mia versione ho usato perline di legno.
Ricordo che usava questi centrini per coprire il bricco del latte e la zuccheriera, per proteggere il contenuto da mosche e altri piccoli insetti volanti.
Io penso che potremmo ancora utilizzarli oggi.
Questo lavoretto non è costoso ed è semplice da fare. Ho usato il tulle di vecchie bomboniere, perline di legno con un grosso foro, per far passare l'uncinetto e del cotone bianco per uncinetto.

Printable Mini Gift Bags.

I made these mini gift bags for tiny gifts. They measure 3 and 3/4 inches in height and 3 and 1/2 inches in width. Here is a picture of what they will look like once printed and assembled.

Ho creato queste mini borse regalo per piccoli regali. Misurano 9 cm in altezza e 8,50 cm in larghezza. Ecco una foto di come si presenta una volta realizzata.

Welcome!

After several attempts to start a blog, I have finally managed to create one. I must say it's not as easy as it seems, especially for me as I am not at all computer wise. The blog mania is very contagious and I got the blog bug too in the end.
I am not sure if I will have much to write in the following days but I started this blog to share my crafts, graphics and printables since computer crafting is my favourite hobby.
Here are some hang tags which I made for this occassion and which I am very happy to share with you.

Dopo parecchi tentativi per iniziare un blog sono finalmente riuscita a crearne uno. Devo ammettere che non è cosi semplice come sembra, specialmente per me che conosco poco il computer. La blog mania è molto contagiosa e infine ha colpito anche me.
Non sono sicura se avrò molto da raccontare nei prossimi giorni ma ho iniziato questo blog per condividere i miei lavori, disegni grafici e printables visto che il mio passatempo preferito è creare con il computer.
