Cards --- Biglietti Di Auguri

Some years ago I started making my own cards mainly because it was very difficult  for me, here in this part of Italy, to find cards with greetings in the English language. Having relatives and friends living in Malta, England, America, Australia and Canada  I am always in need of English greeting cards for birthdays and other holidays and special events but  never find any in the town where I live. The only cards I find that suit  my needs are the open type, the ones with a pretty front and blank inside... suitable to write one's own greetings in any language, but even these are not easy to find.
Every time I go to Malta for the Summer holidays I  buy a good supply of birthday cards but when the supply finishes I have to make my own using coloured card stock and recycling some parts from old cards. I never took pictures of the past cards I made and since I never considered this a real hobby, but only a necessity, I never even thought of posting any of them here on my blog.  It is never too late to start so here is the picture of a card  I have just finished making. I used card stock for this one and recyled the printed parts from some old cards. I remember I made some very nice ones in the past and I am  now sorry that I never took pictures of them.

Sue that's a lovely card! I have been so lucky in the past to be one of the recipients of your beautiful handiwork. Indeed card making is one of your talents!
Hugs,
Doreen
