Felt Penguin Ornament --- Pinguino di Feltro

I hope you are all enjoying a nice Sunday.

Today I am posting a tutorial on how to make 

this cute Penguin ornament for your Christmas tree.

You will need:

Printer

Printing paper

Black , white, red and yellow felt

Black and white embroidery thread (moulinè)

Glue ( preferably in stick form)

Gold coloured thread

Batting

Black and orange permanent markers.

Oggi vorrei condividere questo tutorial con voi.

E' un tutorial per un pinguino di feltro per l'albero di Natale.

Servono:

Stampante

Carta per stampante

Feltro  nero,  bianco, rosso e giallo

Filo da ricamo bianco e nero (moulinè)

Colla stick

Filo dorato

Immbottitura

Pennarelli indelebili, color arancione e nero

Seguono in basso le foto passo per passo per realizzarlo.

(1) Download the pattern and print.

    Next cut out the pattern pieces.

(1) Scaricare il modello e stampate.

Tagliate i pezzi del modello.

Cut out 2 pieces for the body (front and back) from the black felt.  

Tagliate 2 pezzi per il corpo (davanti e dietro) dal feltro nero.

(2) Cut out the head and breast part (A in the pattern sheet) from the white felt and the beak from the yellow felt, 

glue the beak as shown in  picture 2.

(2) Tagliate la parte della testa e petto (Parte A nel modello) dal feltro bianco,

tagliate il becco dal feltro giallo e incollate come nell'immagine 2.

(3) Dab the back side of Part A  with the stick glue and place over one of

the two black body parts (front part) and press firmly.

(3) Mettete un po' di colla stick sul rovescio della parte A e incollatela 

ad uno dei due pezzi neri del corpo(il davanti).

(4) Sew Part A to the front piece using white embroidery thread in blanket stitch all around.

(4) Cucite, con un punto festone, la Parte A al davanti  usando del filo da ricamo bianco .

(5) Cut out the feet from the yellow felt and glue over the bottom inside part of the back piece.

(5) Tagliate i piedi dal feltro giallo e incollateli alla parte bassa (interna) del dietro.

(6) Place the front piece over the back piece and sew together all around in 

blanket stitch using black embroidery thread. 

Leave the bottom part ( Picture 6) open for the batting filling.

(6) Sovrapponete il davanti sul dietro e cucite insieme

con punto festone usando del filo da ricamo nero. 

Lasciate la parte inferiore aperta (immagine 6) per 

 l'immbottitura.

(7) Fill with some batting , do not put too much batting and close with blanket stitch.

(7) Immbottite  leggermente e chiudete con punto festone.

(8) Draw around the edge of the beak with an orange felt pen .

(8) Segnate il bordo del becco con un pennarello arancione .

(9)

(9) Do the same with the feet.

(9) Fate lo stesso per i piedi.

(10)

 (10) Draw the eyes .

(10) Dipingete gli occhi.

I added a red felt scarf to give it that Christmas touch 

and threaded the head with a golden coloured thread to hang it from.
The penguin is now ready for the Christmas tree.

Io ho aggiunto una sciarpa di feltro rosso per dargli quel tocco natalizio

e  un anello di filo dorato in cima alla testa  per appenderlo.
 Il pinguino è adesso pronto per essere appeso all'albero.
