Crafter's Block!

I haven't had much time for crafting in the past few days, I have dedicated most of my time to the family... well, family comes first... but another reason is that I am at a total loss for new ideas.
This crafter's block can become very frustrating at times .
I have gone through this other times and I know that it will take me only a few days before I really do get some nice creative idea.
In the meantime here are some crafts I made some time ago but never posted on my blog, the boxes are my very first attempts in country ( tole) painting.

		Non ho avuto molto tempo per fare nuovi lavori in questi ultimi giorni, ho dedicato la maggior parte del mio tempo alla famiglia ... bene, la famiglia viene prima, ma un altro motivo è che mi mancano nuove idee. Questo blocco può diventare molto frustrante a volte. Questo mi è capitato altre volte e so che mi ci vorranno solo pochi giorni prima che mi verrà in mente qualche bella idea creativa. Nel frattempo, ecco alcuni vecchi lavori fatti qualche tempo fa' ma mai pubblicati sul mio blog, le scatole sono i miei primi tentativi di pittura country.

"Four Seasons" Box.

Among the many things I collect are some boxes of various shapes and sizes all waiting to be painted. Here is a very small wooden box I just finished painting. It's not perfect as I know there are many flaws.
The sides of this tiny box measure 3 inches high and 2 inches wide.
I painted a side for every season.



Tra le tante cose che colleziono ci sono alcune scatole di varie misure che aspettano di essere dipinte. Ecco una piccola scatola di legno che ho appena finito di dipingere. Il lavoro non è perfetto, sono consapevole che ci sono molte imperfezioni. I lati misurano 8 cm per 5 cm. Ho dipinto una stagione per ogni lato. Here's what the box looked like before .

Back to Country Painting.

It has a been a long while since I last used my paints and paint brush so I thought it was time I got down to doing some country painting. I admit I still have alot to learn about this and my greatest mistake is - lack of practice -. As everyone knows ...only practice makes perfect.
Here is my little creation.

E' da tanto tempo che non uso i colori e i pennelli così ho pensato che era ora di fare un pò di country painting. Ammetto che ho ancora molta da imparare e il mio più grosso errore è la mancanza di pratica. Come tutti sanno... solo la pratica rende perfetti.
Ecco la mia piccola creazione.
