Raffia Heart .... Projects 3 and 4.

Hello there! Hope everyone is doing fine!
I am back as promised and this time I am posting the last two projects I made with the raffia hearts.

Today's first project is a box frame where I put a raffia heart on a gingham background. It has a very nice country look and is just right for the kitchen.

The last project in this series of Raffia Heart Crafts is a curtain tie back. To make this I added a piece of raffia, about 6 inches long, to the top back of the raffia heart and tied the other end to a piece of twig which I later covered with a bow from gingham fabric. 
To wrap around the curtain, you must wrap the raffia around the curtain and pass the twig stick through the centre hole of the heart. I haven't any more ideas for these hearts, I think 4 different uses are just about enough for now.

Sono tornata come promesso e questa volta vi presento gli ultimi due progetti che ho fatto con il cuore di rafia.

Primo progetto di oggi è una cornice dove ho messo il cuore di rafia su uno sfondo di tessuto quadrato, gingham. Ha un aspetto molto country ed è giusto per la cucina.

L'ultimo progetto in questa serie di cuore di rafia è un ferma tenda. Per fare questo ho aggiunto un pezzo di rafia, lungo circa 16 centimetri, alla parte superiore posteriore del cuore e legato l'altra estremità ad un pezzo di ramoscello che ho poi coperto con un fiocco in tessuto gingham. 
Per avvolgere la tenda, è necessario avvolgere la rafia attorno alla tenda e passare il  ramoscello attraverso il foro centrale del cuore. 
Non ho altre idee per questi cuori, credo che 4 usi diversi sono abbastanza per ora.

Raffia Heart ... Projects 1 and 2.

Every promise should be kept and so here I am, as I promised yesterday, with my projects.
I used the raffia hearts in two different projects as you can see in the pictures.

The first project is a simple hanging ornament. I added some copper wire with beads to form a loop on the heart and violà here's a hanging ornament.
The second project is a tiny bit more complex. I made a box from card stock, decoupaged the surface and trimmed the borders with crochet using twine but even the same raffia would do fine. I finally added the heart on top of the lid cover. What do you think of my little gift box?

I have two more projects for these hearts but they are still a work in progress. Keep tuned for more.

Ogni promessa deve essere mantenuta e quindi eccomi qui, come promesso ieri, con i miei progetti. 
Ho usato il cuore di rafia in due diversi progetti, come si può vedere nelle immagini.

Il primo progetto è un semplice ornamento. Ho aggiunto un po 'di filo di rame, con perline per formare un anello sul cuore e violà, ecco un ornamento da appendere.  
Il secondo progetto è un pochino più complesso. Ho fatto una scatola di cartoncino, usato la tecnica del decoupage per la superficie e rifinito i bordi con un bordo al uncinetto usando dello spago ma si potrebbe usare la stessa rafia e  in fine ho aggiunto il cuore sul coperchio. Cosa ne pensate della mia piccola scatola regalo?

Ho altri due progetti per questi cuori, ma sono ancora un "work in progress". Tenetevi  pronti per altre novità.

 

Raffia Heart

Shame on me... I abandoned my blog way too long.
Every time I come to post I say the same thing, mainly, that I won't stay away so long next time, but it looks like I keep doing it. This time, I will refrain from repeating the same thing since I never know when those creative ideas will come and go. It's all up to that creative spark , you never know when it will come again.

Right now it's working fine so here I am with my latest creation ready to be shared with you.
I've made these raffia hearts that I intend to use with other projects. You 'll be asking ... which are the other projects? Well, to know just keep tuned and come visit again as soon as you can, I promise to be quick with posting my next project... I promise!

Che vergogna  ... Ho abbandonato il mio blog per troppo tempo.Ogni volta che vengo a postare dico la stessa cosa, soprattutto, che non voglio stare lontano così a lungo la prossima volta, ma sembra che continuo a farlo. Questa volta, mi asterrò dal ripetere la stessa cosa dato che non so mai quando quelle idee creative vanno e vengono. E 'tutto colpa di quella scintilla creativa, non si sa mai quando arriverà di nuovo.

 In questo momento la scintilla sta lavorando bene. Ecco la mia ultima creazione pronta per essere condivisa con voi.

Ho fatto questi cuoricini di cartone ricoperti di rafia che ho intenzione di usare con altri progetti. Mi chiederete... quali sono gli altri progetti? Beh, per sapere basta tornare a visitarmi di nuovo al  più presto possibile, prometto di essere veloce con il mio prossimo progetto ... Ve lo prometto!
