Grubby Prim Tags

Here are some prim tags I made and instructions on how to have a tag coloured on both sides.
I made these tags last year and had posted them on Craftsayings forum so some forum friends might have these saved already, I am now posting them here for free download for my blog friends and followers.

Printing Instructions:
Print the tags with sayings first.
Once you have printed them, turn the sheet over ( the tags should be upside down on the other side), insert it back into the printer and print the BLANK version of the tags this time.
I hope this is clear.
If you prefer to print only the blank tags to use as you wish, just print these first , then turn the sheet over with the blank tags on the other side upside down, insert it in the printer and print again. The blank tags can be used for your crafts as you wish.

In this way you will have a tag that's coloured on both sides. I only hope the instructions are clear.

Ho fatto queste l'anno scorso e le avevo pubblicate sul Craftsayings forum... forse alcune amiche del forum l'avranno salvate già, adesso voglio pubblicarle qui sul mio blog per tutte le amiche del mio blog.

Istruzioni per la stampa:
Stampare le etichette con scritte prima.
Una volta che le hai stampate , girare il foglio (i tag devono essere a testa in giù sull' altro lato), inserire il foglio di nuovo nella stampante e stampare la versione senza scritte questa volta. Spero che questo sia chiaro. Se preferite stampare solo le tags senza scritte , basta stampare queste prima, quindi girare il foglio sul lato rovescio (i tag devono essere a testa in giù sull' altro lato), inserire nella stampante e stampare nuovamente. In questo modo si avrà una tag colorata su entrambi i lati. Spero solo che le istruzioni sono chiare.

SAPONETTE DECORATIVE

Ecco la traduzione in Italiano del tutorial di Crazy Me-ma per decorare saponette.
Spero di esaudire la richiesta delle amiche Italiane con questa traduzione.

Per prima cosa dovete trovare delle saponette con superfice piatta.
Cercate delle immagini dal web che volete usare e ridimensionate secondo la grandezza che vi serve ,( la misura della superfice della saponetta, più o meno )... fatto questo stampate le immagini, io ho usato il programma Microsoft Publisher per mettere più di una immagine su un solo foglio A4 per risparmiare carta.

Tagliate l'immagine e incollate sulla saponetta ... usando della colla Vinilica o se volete si puo attaccare usando dello smalto trasparente per unghie. Date una passata anche sopra l'immagine.
Lasciate ad asciugare NON usate il phon.

Le saponette migliori per questo lavoro sono quelle al naturale e lisce.
Quando l'immagine è asciutta, fate scogliere della cera di candela bianca (parafina), in un contenitore largo, a bagno maria... io ho usato le piccole candeline "tea light" bastano due per due saponette. Immergete la parte con l'immagine appena ½ cm nella cera e lasciate asciugare con l'immagine verso l'alto su della carta forno ma prima di girare la saponetta con l'immagine verso l'alto aspettate 3 secondi per permettere la cera di solidificare un po', cosi non colerà sui bordi della saponetta.
Vi consiglio di fare una prova con una saponetta che non costa molto per la prima volta ... io ho usato le piccole saponette per il mio primo tentativo. Per questa fase consiglio di usare delle pinze ( tipo per pasticceria) per non scottarvi le dita nella cera calda.

Appena la cera e ben solida sulla saponetta, l'immagine può sembrare un po' opaca, in questo caso basta bagnare un battufolo di cotone con qualche goccia di baby olio e lucidare la superfice .

Decorate solo un lato della saponetta altrimenti la saponetta non puo essere usata.
Important: l'immagine va incollata sul lato dove di solito c'è la scritta, in questo caso il nome va coperto.

Spero che la spiegazione è chiara, se qualcuno ha delle domande da farmi sarò lieta di risponderevi.

DECORATIVE SOAP BARS

This is something I had been longing to try and I have finally made it... decorating soap.
I found a very helpful tutorial on the Craftsayings forum archive and I thank Crazy Me-ma for her method, which I must say... works fine.

I used a big square soap bar and two mini soap bars that I had saved from past travels ( the tiny soaps used on planes some years ago) .
I thought it was a difficult procedure but now that I've tried it I can say... it was real fun!

Io ho usato una saponetta quadrata e altre due mini saponette che avevo conservato da viaggi fatti in passato ( le piccole saponette che si usavano sugli aerei alcuni anni fa).
Pensavo che la procedura era difficile ma adesso che l'ho provata devo dire che... è stato divertente!

54 Candles

Birthdays should be celebration time but for some reason I don't feel much like celebrating .... maybe I'm getting old.
Today is my birthday... Oh my ... I feel old... I 've just blown my 54th candle.

Un compleanno dovrebbe essere tempo per festeggiare, ma per qualche motivo non mi sento di festeggiare .... forse sto diventando vecchia.

Today is February 1st ... I love this month firstly because my birthday is in February and secondly because it's the shortest month so we get closer to Spring. Unfortunately it's a dull Sunday and it has started to rain outside , actually it's a mixture of rain and snow... this gives me a sad feeling so I thought what can I do to chase the blues away and... idea... a game!

Here's the blog game I'm launching : you must guess my birthdate , you already know the month so all you have to do is guess the date. I will give a little gift to the person that I will pick out at random among those that leave a comment with the right date.

Oggi è il primo Febbraio... io amo questo mese prima perchè compio gli anni a Febbraio e secondo perchè è il mese più corto, così la Pimavera si avvicina. Sfortunatamente è una Domenica grigia e fuori piove, in realta è pioggia mista neve... questo tempo mi da una tristezza ma sto pensando come cacciarla via ... idea... un giochino!
