Cinnamon Dough Mobile

Here's another ornie I made from the left over Cinnamon Dough used in my previous post. I hung this mobile in a door way and believe me... it leaves a nice fragrance as I pass from one room to another.

To make the ornies for this mobile I used a star cookie cutter and golden corded string to hang each ornie. I made a big star just like the one in my previous post as the main support and some more small dough balls with holes right through.

To make these mobile ornies you will need a plastic drinking straw to make holes in the dough shapes. The holes are necessary since you will have to pass the corded string through, to hang them up. The bigger star has five points and a hole in each point. Remember always to leave the pieces to air dry for 2 to 3 days, they should be very dry to handle once you start making the mobile. It has no chimes as it is only meant to be an Air Freshener.

I agree with Loree, they look good enough to eat!
I love your idea of these homemade ornaments and they will give off a lovely 'Chrismassy' scent for the coming season.
Thanks for sharing Sue : )

Doreen

Wow how sweet! What's vinilic glue? Is it used to harden the dough?

Zen, I meant vinyl glue, I must have confused the english term with the italian word . It is a water based glue which is usually used for crafts.
