Paper Clay Experiment (Easter Bunny)... Part One.

Hello friends, here I am ready to try my hand at Paper Clay modelling just as I mentioned in my last post.
I have read so much and seen so many videos about Paper Clay and Papier Machè that I am excited like a child to get my hands working with this clay.

I have chosen to make an Easter Bunny for my first experiment , yes, I now I could have chosen something easier for my very first try but I found a good graphic and it is exactly what I was really looking for. The bunny is very small it sits exactly in my palm, measures about 5 inches from the tip of his nose to his tail.

Here below are the pictures of the bunny armature... I used newspaper strips rolled into balls and differnt shapes to model the body and taped them all in place with masking tape.

I made this yesterday afternoon, it took me a good 2 hours to give it the right shape, I will start covering the bunny with the paper clay tomorrow so, if this interests you, check my posts in the following days to see more pictures of the work in progress. Thanks for visiting!
