"Santa" Wine Bottle Cover

It snowed most of the day and so I took advantage of this and spent most of the afternoon making this cute "Santa"  Wine Bottle Cover.   Winter days are the days I craft most, and you?

E' nevicato quasi tutto il giorno e me ne sono approfittata per fare questo Copri Bottiglia a forma di Babbo Natale. Ho trascorso quasi tutto il pomerriggio per farlo. I giorni invernali sono i giorni in cui sono più creativa, e voi?

Last minute Halloween Decoration

Halloween isn't as popular in my country, Italy, as it is in the States but it is now gaining in popularilty especially among the younger generation.  This is why I don't usually decorate  much for this celebration.  Here's my, last minute, front door decoration, ( I live in an apartment so I cannot use big decorations) a very simple and quick ghost just to be in the right festive spirit. I used  a small plastic ball, a piece of white synthetic cloth, an elastic band and a marker for the eyes and mouth and bio adhesive tape.

Halloween non è così conosciuto nel mio paese, Italia, come lo è negli States ma oggi questa festa sta diventando sempre più popolare anche qui specialmente tra i giovani. Anche se di solito non uso decorare la casa per questa festa, ecco cosa ho fatto per la porta,( abito in un apartamento e perciò non posso usare decorazioni troppo grosse) un fantasmino molto semplice e veloce da fare giusto per entrare nello spirito di questa festa. Ho usato un piccolo palloncino, un pezzo di stoffa bianca ( tessuto non tessuto), un elastico ed un pennello per disegnare occhi e bocca e un po di nastro bio adesivo.
