Happy Birthday Mr. Harryhausen!

I am sure we all know that before computers were invented, the cinema world used technicians for their special effects and animation.
We have all been fascinated by the special effects in movies like " The Clash of theTitans" and "Jason and the Argonauts" just to name a few.
"Who doesn't remember the terrible Medusa and the skeleton fight in these two movies?

The wizard behind these and many other great special effects is Ray Harryhausen and this is my special tribute to him as he turned 90 years old on 29th June 2010.

Today we have gone a long way from these stop motion animation effects but I still wouldn't change these methods for all today's computerised effects used in the film industry.
He is what I call GENIUS !

Stop motion animation can still give enjoyable effects just like in the Video "LOST THINGS" at the foot of this post.
